Multnomah County Animal Services is responsible for protecting pets and people in Multnomah County. As an Animal Control Officer 2, you will play a vital role in these missions. Your responsibilities will include responding to animal-related calls, investigating animal cruelty cases, and enforcing animal welfare laws. You will also have the opportunity to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong passion for animals, a commitment to public service, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with animals or in a related field is preferred.
